
New CEO at KA Interiør
– will open doors to new business opportunities
René Heisselberg Pedersen has been appointed as new CEO of KA Interiør in Grindsted. The company is the Nordic region’s largest manufacturer of sliding-door wardrobes for the kitchen and furniture industry and DIY stores (Private label). Ambitions beyond Denmark. Mr Heisselberg will lead further growth throughout Europe.
René Heisselberg Pedersen (57), joins KA Interiør in Grindsted as the company’s new CEO. Mr Heisselberg has previous CEO experience from ST Skoleinventar and SIS International.
KA Interiør specialises in sliding-door wardrobes and currently has 100 employees and customers throughout Northern Europe. All of the company’s products are ordered according to individual dimensions, adapted to the individual customer’s needs and wishes for design and fittings.

Of his new job, René Heisselberg Pedersen says: “I am really looking forward to joining KA Interiør and contributing to meeting customers’ needs for innovative wardrobe and sliding door solutions. Now, with the combination of modern technology and proud craftsmanship, KA Interiør’s skilled employees in Grindsted can produce 110,000 sliding-door solutions a year. All wardrobes are assembled by hand and this has been a mark of quality since the first cabinet was produced 30 years ago. It’s a fantastic story of proud craftsmanship in a measurable way, and there is plenty of potential for further growth.”
And at group level, KA Interiør and sister company Noteborn in the Netherlands, work closely together to manufacture cabinets. In order to create a synergy across the companies, Kristian Bonde, Sales Director for many years, has been appointed Commercial Director of both companies.
René Heisselberg Pedersen takes up his new position following the departure of Allan Meyer, who has been appointed CEO of Multiform after many years leading KA Interiør.
